Honey Walnut Shrimp









Ingredients

1 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Sugar
½ cup whole shelled walnuts
3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk
½ Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Sugar
½ tsp Salt
1 cup Water
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup vegetable oil for frying




Directions:


1. Melt Butter over medium high heat in a small saucepan. Add the walnuts and stir to coat. Once coated turn heat up to high and stir for one minuet Turn the burner to medium, add the sugar slowly to the walnuts. Cook for 2 more minuets then turn off the heat. Set walnuts aside.
2. Mix Mayonnaise, Honey and Sweetened Condensed Milk and Lemon Juice together. Set aside.
3. Mix together Flour, Salt, Sugar, and Water. Stir until mixture forms a batter. Add Shrimp and stir to coat.
4. Heat Oil to 375° and add shrimp 1 at a time. Be sure to let batter drip off the shrimp. Cook shrimp until a light brown (2 or 3 minuets). Remove shrimp and let drain.
5. Toss Shrimp, sauce and walnuts together in a bowl and serve.
